About The Speaker:

Edward Pokropski

I was born in Seoul, South Korea and then adopted at 19 months old. I was raised mostly in Philly. I don't like cheesesteaks, but I have been boxing since I was 17, so some stereotypes do stick. Throughout the week, I host open mics under Laughing Buddha Comedy at Klimat in East Village.  I perform standup in various clubs and bars throughout the country (but mostly NY, Philly and NJ) and have hosted numerous charity events as an emcee. I also write, produce, direct and edit content for NBCUniversal.  I’ve done most of my work in kids’ television. Kids are the most challenging of all audiences. Their mood can change instantly and they can heckle better than anyone.

I live in NYC, love food and shamelessly promote Asian Americans everywhere, any chance that I get.
