Lovingly rendered by DC veteran actor Jim Brady, this comic verse about a fictional, legendary baseball game was first published anonymously in 1888 by The San Francisco Examiner.  The poem quickly rose to popularity, becoming a Vaudeville Circuit staple and one of the best known poems in American literature.
