In the final episode of the 2024-25 year, host Brian McLaughlin sits down with Anna Olson who wrapped up her Catamount career with the Women's Basketball team in the NCAA Tournament last weekend. She reflects on her career, what the final moments of the season were like and shares what is next after spending five years in Burlington. Then Athletic Director Jeff Schulman returns to the program to talk through the process of acting as the host institution for the Frozen Four. While taking place in St. Louis, he explains how UVM got connected to the city, what the schools' responsibilities are and why it made sense for the athletic department. 

Vermont Men's Lacrosse Head Coach Chris Feifs kicks off this weeks episode with a deep dive into the first half of the season. He shares insight into how the team has adapted after dealing with injuries to key players and the biggest focus going into Saturday's clash with Bryant. Then prior to making the trip to Raleigh for the NCAA Tournament, WBB Associate Head Coach Will Lanier details just how chaotic preparing for the big dance can feel. He tells stories from previous NCAA Tournament trips in his career and how the team caught fire during conference play. 

In a lacrosse centric episode Ryker Demarest joins the show to preview America East play beginning against UMBC on Saturday for the Men's Lacrosse team. In addition to earning a starting spot on the teams close defense he has also scored three goals so he goes in depth on the teams transition game. Then graduate student captain Meghan O'Connor from Women's Lacrosse breaks down her career high four-goal outing against LIU. She tells the story of the adversity she has overcome with two recent knee injuries and how she got back to full strength. 

Fresh off earning the conference's Defensive Player of the Year honor Bella Vito (7:02) joins Catamount Insider. She describes her defensive skillset and what goes into preparing for a game. Then Jace Roquemore (33:25) from UVM Men's basketball sits down for a discussion on his collegiate career and the journey through this winter season. 

This week on Catamount Insider James Cilwik and MegAnne Gilmore from the Track and Field team join the show after they both captured an America East title in the mile at the Indoor Track and Field Championships. Then veteran on the Men's Basketball team Nick Fiorillo returns to recap his final season in a Catamount uniform and preview the month of March. 

To begin this weeks episode Colin Bullock and Carson Eggebraten (7:12) from the Men's Lacrosse team sit down together to discuss their start to the season, a change in position for Carson and more details on the start to the lacrosse season. Then Catamount guard Catherine Gilwee (36:00) joins the show coming off a huge win against Maine last weekend. She shares stories about struggling to return from last seasons injury and how she has found her footing during America East action. 

On this episode of Catamount Insider host Brian McLaughlin previews the Women's Lacrosse season with Head Coach Sarah Dalton Graddock. She goes in depth on the performance in a season opening win against Jacksonville and how she approached this offseason. Then Goalie from UVM Women's Ice Hockey Jane Gervais joins the show to break down a big win against nationally ranked Boston College. 

On Episode 18 of the 2024-25 season freshman on the Men's Basketball team Sean Blake (6:49) joins the show and breaks down his big performance in the win against Maine and the areas where his game has developed throughout the season. Then junior captain from Men's Lacrosse Tristan Whitaker (31:05) gives a season preview and details offseason developments prior to the season opener against Syracuse. 

On Episode 17 of Catamount Insider Simon Jellus joins the show fresh off his highlight reel game-winning goal in overtime against New Hampshire. He fills in host Brian McLaughlin on his senior season and what to expect in the stretch run of the regular season. Then Sarah Ericson from Women's Basketball sits down following her 15 point outing against UMBC. She and the Catamounts have won seven straight games and she discusses what has been working well recently. 

This week host Brian McLaughlin sits down with Ella Church (5:50) from the Swimming and Diving team to discuss her recent pool record in the 1000 Yard Freestyle on Senior Day. Then they preview the upcoming America East Championship Meet where the Catamounts are the defending champs. Then fresh off a career high 27 point night Ileri Ayo-Faleye (32:40) of the Men's Basketball team joins the show. He dives into his development and the work he put into his offensive game and details the teams mindset in the midst of America East action.
