“for the words which You gave Me I have given to them, and they received them and truly understood that I came forth from You, and they believed that You sent Me.” (John 17:8)

No one has to be a Christian any more than a door has to be opened. But if you choose to open the door to God, the door to open is Jesus Christ. No one has to trust Him. But if you do, you will find life better for it. You may doubt in the hereafter, yet living as a Christian is more beneficial than living any insanity based on self or self-improvement, failing, and trying harder. Of course, no one can learn to swim if they do not jump into the pool and risk drowning.

We who submit to Jesus Christ will drown.
