The television show Åremorden (The Åre Murders) is based on the novels of Viveca Sten. Hanna Ahlander (Carla Sehn), the main heroine of the series, is a police officer who has been dismissed from her work in Stockholm and deserted by her partner. She moves to her sister's holiday house in Åre. The novel "Offermakaren -Hidden in Snow" inspired the first, second, and third episodes. The novel "Dalskuggan - Hidden in Shadows" inspired the fourth and fifth episodes. Because the fourth and fifth episodes were made following the text, I thought they were excellent. The remaining three novels should be included in a second season, in my opinion.
