Nearly a year ago, Chris and Holly sold most of their worldly possessions and took themselves and their three children on a journey across the US and Asia. Holly and Chris tell their tales of their travels, from visiting friends in the States, to following the silk road and walking across the border from China to Kyrgyzstan, training in the Shaolin Temple in China, and collaborating with an English school in Russia. Chris and Holly highlight the value they found in exploring local areas in each country and investing in the culture.

The Five Backpacks Family will soon set off again, this time traveling to Taiwan, Australia, and New Zealand, after which they will plan their next journey.
