Today I'm going to be talking about catchy marketing words for affiliate marketing that I hope can help you.
When you read, have you ever skimmed an article or book? I do this a lot because we are so busy. A great tip when it comes to writing is to make some words bold and underline to grab the attention of the skimmers.
Of course break up the text, because huge chucks of text is intimidating. Usually I only put a few lines and then I will put a space.
To pull readers back into the copy you can break up your copy with big bold titles that really grab someone's attention.
You don't want to use bold and underline too much in your text, because they will lose their potency. Have fun with it and sprinkle them around.
Another tip with using words is to use the word “yes.” We like to here yes, you can use yes in your articles, videos are whatever.
When I used to sale cars, I never wanted to say the word no to someone because people have ego's, we don't like to hear no right?
I do want to make a point that after reading a book called “Never Split the Difference,” if you are trying to sale something don't make someone say yes to too many loaded questions, where the obvious answer is yes.
People feel like they are getting backed into a corner, and might want to rebel, just for the heck of it. In the book he ran some tests on it and had much better results getting people to say no and I do believe this. We like to say no, but we don't like to hear no, hopefully that makes sense. What do you think about this let me know in the comments below.
Another wonderful idea is that we has humans have built up a resistance to marketers, because we are hit up all the time to buy things right?
If you are selling something, chances are you might know of a few reasons on what someone would object to.
Say you sale private planes, people might object to expensive repairs, jet fuel or whatever. A great idea is to use objection busters to solve someone's problem upfront.
Whatever reasons people will not do what you want, mention them up front and it can bring you closer to that person. It might diffuse someone's skepticism.
Like I mentioned in a previous video people walk around with armor because we are being hit up all the time with marketing messages.
Anything you can do that is different than what people are used to, then that is going to get someone's attention.
This works with videos, articles, email marketing or whatever.
In headlines many people try to come across like they are trustworthy. What if you did the opposite and said something like how you screwed up so much in the past.
In the headlines say something like “don't listen to me.” and those are catchy marketing words because it is reverse psychology people are not used to reading this.
One last point I would like to make is that people are skeptical. Skepticism really is a sign of intelligence, I do believe this.
If you are talking about money or dates, especially if you go to court. I'm thinking of the supreme court nomination that was accused of sexual harassment, but she didn't know the date.
You want to use exact figures because it comes across as more believable. Plus if you put a real price tag on something, it comes across as more real.
