Cathay Bi is a chef, writer, musician, political activist, mother of 2, and one of the leading minds in the San Francisco small business community. Many of you may have met her during her chapter as the owner of Dumpling Club (a beloved restaurant just a few blocks down from Dolores Deluxe that closed in 2023). We recorded this episode on November 6th - the day after the general election - so the results were definitely front of mind. It made for a deeply genuine and vulnerable discussion - one that highlights just how important it is to pool our resources and help each other face an uncertain future.
