My next guest is Catherine McLeod CEO of Dingley’s Promise an Early Years Charity in Berkshire that has play centres and a UK programme for children under 5 with SEND. Cath’s journey started out when she was just 10 years old when she first discovered how children with disabilities were treated differently. This led her to work across the world in countries such as Vietnam where children were born under the gruelling effects of war. She set up her own charity in Sri Lanka to help children with disabilities to be included and that is why she was awarded an MBE. Catherine started work with Dingleys Promise in 2015 and she shares why inclusion is so important to transform the lives of children with additional needs.
