Growing up at the end of apartheid in South Africa, Gordon knew from an early age he wanted to have one of three careers: to be in government, to work in the UN, or to be a newscaster. So far, he's managed to achieve the first two, and with his intellect and charm, who knows what the future holds for him to end up on CNN.
