This episode dives into a great topic I’ve been wanting to be explore: cathexis versus love! Cathexis is the act of investing mental or emotional energy in a person, object or idea and often confused for love in so many of our intimate and non-intimate relationships. Breaking down the real meaning of love in this segment, I challenge all to reflect on how they have received and/or not experienced real love, trust, and reciprocity in their lived experiences.
