This is a Catholic Bible study for the 2nd Sunday of Advent. We have entered a new Liturgical Church Year, so, Happy New Year!  As we await the "comings" of Jesus, may our hearts be ready to celebrate the anniversary of His First Coming in History, His Final Coming in Majesty and His Daily Coming through the Sacraments and His graces in Mystery.

Catholic Bible Study for the 2nd Sunday of Advent  (Year A)

The Franciscan Sisters of the Sorrowful Mother of Nebraska City gather with a group of parishioners from St. Mary's and St. Benedict's parishes to read, pray, study, and reflect on the meaning of the upcoming Sunday Mass Readings.  Through their Catholic Bible Study, they hope to be able to more fruitfully receive our Lord in Holy Communion each Sunday.
