Listen Later

Intro to the day:  “The word of God must be heard graciously, received devoutly, and whatever pertains to the salvation of souls must be preserved with care. And it must be heard not as the word of man, but as it is in truth, the word of God, whether it consoles or warns or rebukes.” –Saint Bernard of Clairveaux

Today is Monday, the Memorial of Saint Andrew Dŭng-Lạc, Priest, and Companions, Martyrs. We are praying for the faculty, staff, and families of Blessed Sacrament Catholic School in Albany, NY.

In the Gospel, Jesus speaks of true charity.

Gospel: Luke 21:1-4

Marian prayer for the day: Hail Mary

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the Fruit of thy womb, Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners

Now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.
