Bishop Thomas Zinkula, five deacon candidates and their formation director traveled to the U.S. Mexico border in El Paso, Texas/Ciudad Juarez earlier this month for a border immersion experience.

They gathered at a retreat house in El Paso to talk about what they experienced in their encounter with people who live along the border and who advocate on behalf of immigrants and refugees.
