Despite the cold weather, Catholics from across the Chicago area trekked to a shrine in Des Plaines for the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

The annual celebration of the Virgin Mary usually draws hundreds of thousands of mostly Latinos but the crowds appeared smaller after months of immigration enforcement actions in the city and suburbs.
