CBHS Memphis

Brothers Digest - Episode Summary Friday, September 25th, 2026

The stories we tell ourselves about ourselves and who we are can be remarkably difficult to change.

As a student at Christian Brothers, Andrew Arbogast had come to believe he simply wasn't someone who was going to excel. The Army helped rewrite that story—until an incident during a combat deployment forced him to confront those doubts all over again.

What happened next eventually led him somewhere he never expected: entrepreneurship, and a new understanding of just how powerful another person's encouragement can be.

Episode Highlights:

The Power of Encouragement (0:55-17:45) Andrew Arboghast joins us to discuss how encouragement in the form of "borrowed belief" fueled his entrepreneurial success and helped him rewrite his own story.
