For the first part of my new Authority Content Experiment (ACE), I'm talking with experienced income site builder Jon Haver, about how to build profitable website assets. At the time of writing, Jon has just made $35,000 in one month with his niche sites - a process which he documents on his excellent blog, Authority Website Income. So I was delighted when he agreed to be my partner for this exciting new venture, where I build an income generating site from start to finish and document the whole process here.

Jon's BackstoryA skilled mechanical engineer, over the years Jon has built a successful career in the oil and gas industry - and still has the time and drive to run his equally profitable authority website business in his 'spare' time. But when you build a niche website business to a net income of over $35,000 a month in just six years - it may be the right moment to start thinking about ditching the day job and focusing on your side hustle full time - which is the stage Jon has almost reached. Jon is clear, however, that despite actually losing money by going to his day job - he feels each role makes him better at the other - so his two careers are mutally beneficial for now.Jon transparently documents all his online income over on his site Authority Website Income - which provides a fascinating look behind the curtain of a highly successful authority site building operation.
