This week, Amy interviews Phallon and Kyra Pierce, two girls who experienced racism by their peers and school administration but took action to make a change. Amy opens the show by explaining what they experienced and how they changed the lives of others in and out of school. Amy discusses how to deal with bullying in and outside of school, and Phallon and Kyra explain their experience, coping mechanisms, and what they did to handle their bullying. Phallon and Kyra talk all about their new book club that they created so students of all races should be exposed to various authors and experiences to help them learn and connect to others.
