In nine days of June 1979, the course of human history pivoted and we will examine those nine days in this double episode of the Catholic Corner.

In fact, we will double dip today with two Catholic Corner's separated by the "Chapter 2" tab to help you navigate easier between each of todays deep nuggets of wisdom.

To help with both our nuggets today, is George Weigel's book The End and The Beginning:  Pope John Paul II--The Victory of Freedom, the Last Years, the Legacy  which is the second volume of the John Paul II biography.
