CDC Issues Warning For Elderly People as Coronavirus Spreads Across The US
"The CDC is recommending that senior citizens avoid face-to-face contact to prevent being infected with the Coronavirus. The elderly and those with pre-existing conditions are extremely likely to develop complications from Coronavirus, similar to those of the flu and pneumonia. The elderly should heed this warning and limit their exposure to crowds, in addition to ensuring they have enough food and medication to sustain them. As always, in our practice, we recommend having your important documents, like a healthcare proxy, in place, in the event a healthcare crisis occurs."
