Shortly thereafter, while in London meeting with U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer, Zelenskyy publicly declared that a deal to end the war was "still very, very far away." However, much has changed since then, and Russia now finds itself in a stronger position. Ukraine has agreed to an unconditional 30-day ceasefire, but Russia is now setting conditions.
