She shares how she spearheaded Proud Pipers, an employee resource group that supports LGBTQIA+, and how amazing it was for the whole company to accept it. Ashley also talks about a company program called Chili Interview Buddies which has been integral in guiding candidates and has proven to increase retention.
She also shares the other side of the story and how misogyny remains to be a problem and how Chili Piper is not interested in working with clients who do not respect their employees for who they are.
