April is National Poetry Month. Amanda Gorman’s powerful reading at January’s presidential inauguration gave a boost to an artform that is often neglected by mainstream culture. At the same time, The New York Times published a poem by Atlanta’s Jericho Brown. To mark National Poetry Month, the AJC’s Bo Emerson and Rosalind Bentley have teamed up to take a look at how some of the Atlanta area poets create their work.
