For 2000 years most Christians have met on Sunday, the first day of the week, in celebration of their Savior rising from the dead. The resurrection is spoken about in every gospel as a fact. To reject Jesus’ resurrection also requires one to reject the clear teaching of the Bible. Why are you here today? What will you do with Jesus today, the day that we celebrate his resurrection from the dead? Have you accepted Jesus’ death as your substitute? Does your life support your answer? Today, we will look at the foundation of our faith, the gospel and the reality that it hinges on the resurrection we believe and celebrate each Sunday!
