Africa Day is the annual commemoration celebrating Africans all over the world, in unity on the 25th of May. It is celebrated in various countries on the African continent, as well as around the world.

Nigerian Kiwi rapper and producer Hugh Okechukwu Ozumba also known as (Mazbouq)has been releasing his own music since 2016. His music is a mix of  hiphop, afrobeat, African highlife and punk rock, with themes of anti-racism, pan-africanism, cultural identity, faith and consciousness. Hugh and many other Africans around New Zealand contribute to sharing the essence of carrying your roots.
