Today is my birthday! Woot woot! So I thought what better day to talk about celebrating birthdays in the classroom. Growing up, my birthday was never celebrated at school and it always bummed me out. In this short and sweet episode, I talk about how to honor students' preferences with celebrating birthdays, and how to include everyone even if their birthday does not happen during the school year.
