In celebration of International Day of Persons with Disabilities, we speak with Heather Lacey, executive director of Citizen Advocacy Ottawa. She tells us about their advocacy work with the disability community and describes some of their programs and support services.

We also speak to Joël Dazé, an artistic excellence finalist for this year’s Celebration of People Awards in partnership with Citizen Advocacy Ottawa. He tells us about his work as a composer and mentor to other students who are blind and partially sighted.
