Today we are changing things up a bit.  I am delighted to be sitting down with Second Presbyterian’s organist and Director of Handbells Michael Simpson.  Michael is an integral part of the music ministry at Second Pres, and a seasoned musician in the Richmond area.  His talents and gifts have benefitted several church choirs, community choruses, and more.  Not only is he an outstanding musician, but he truly embodies what it means to be a music minister.  The end of April concluded a 50 year long career in music ministry and now he is well on his way to easing into full time retirement.  Sit back, relax, and enjoy this special episode as I learn about how Michael’s story has shaped our ministry here at Second and throughout the Richmond area.  Welcome, Michael Simpson!
