It devastates me to announce the untimely death of our beloved mother, Eufaula S. Blackwell.

On March 4th, she passed shortly after attending her 75th birthday dinner celebration with her best friend and her children. As you can imagine, this has been a shock to our family as she meant the world to us & she was an integral part of our lives. Thank you to everyone that has shown up in support, whether it be stopping by, sending food & flowers, delivering supplies, taking our phones, sending text messages of encouragement, sharing beautiful memories of her, or just sitting with us in silence as we grieve. If we have not yet responded to your reach out(s), please forgive us as we are a bit overwhelmed.

As I shared the morning of her birthday, there were no strangers to our mother so not only is our family suffering from her sudden loss, so is our village/community. To know her was to love her and she will be greatly missed.

Her celebration of life arrangements have not yet been finalized. However, we will communicate those details soon. We are targeting March 19th in Atlanta. We hope to see all that can join at the celebration of her life.
