Alright, let's dive right in and talk about some exciting news from the WordPress world! First up, WordPress has turned 20. Yes, 20 years! Did you know that it's used by a whopping 63.2% of all websites using content management systems, and 43.1% of all websites? To mark the occasion, WordPress founder Matt Mullenweg announced the Audrey Scholars Program, offering 100% scholarships to selected members who will have their studies renewed annually. This is a fantastic opportunity, particularly for children of those who have contributed to open source or have been significant in Mullenweg's life.

But that's not the only milestone we're celebrating, We, WP-Content dot co just celebrated our third anniversary, and it was truly a momentous occasion for us . We have made several exciting plans and we promise to be more active in the WordPress community and make more contributions.

On the topic of technology, Automattic has launched the alpha version of wp-now, which allows users to easily create a local development environment. This is a game-changer for developers, as it simplifies the process of testing and building new sites.

And speaking of open source, the co-founders of WordPress and Drupal recently discussed the benefits of open-source collaboration and how AI is changing the developer experience. It's fascinating stuff, and it's exciting to see how technology is evolving.

On the security side, Wordfence Firewall recently blocked a strange large-scale XSS campaign, and the WordPress Elementor Website Builder Plugin is currently vulnerable to Broken Access Control. Be sure to update to the latest version to keep your site secure.

Now, let's talk about the community. WP White Security is rebranding into Melapress, and the WordPress Security Survey for 2023 is now live, aiming to gain a clearer picture of the state of WordPress security. Additionally, we have the WP World, a visual directory of people in the WordPress community, and the new Gravity Forms nonprofit license, which grants access to all of its built-in functionalities. And if you're looking to enrich the WordPress project, the WP Photo directory campaign needs your photos!

And last but not least, the second edition of the "Building Blocks: The Evolution of WordPress" book is now available to the public. It's a comprehensive documentation of WordPress's growth from 2013-2023, and it's definitely worth checking out.

That's a lot of exciting news and updates in the WordPress world! We'll be sure to keep you informed of any further developments, so stay tuned!
