In this episode I welcome my guest Ronica Pierre as I recount my cancer journey that begin in February of 2011 with my diagnostic work-up, surgery on Valentines Day, February 14, 2011 to remove my tumor and round one of chemo on 3-21-2011. In August of 2011 as I left my oldest son on the campus of Morehouse College to embark on his journey I had a backpack that contained my last round of chemotherapy. Ronica is a breast cancer survivor who in April will celebrate her 10th year of kicking cancer in the ass! We celebrate a decade of survivorship and all the lessons learned over the past decade. It’s my sincere hope that those who find themselves in the battle find inspiration and hope shared from our journey to know that they too can win the fight!
