I’m starting off this episode of reflection by taking my listeners back to the moment in which I began my archive of documentaries & reflections. As I share with my listeners the unedited clips of my voice journal, I will explain along the way just how I started this entire reflection process, that simply being—I needed to VENT. I needed to decompress the endless chatter of my own MIND & simply release the bottled up madness INTO THIN AIR. I believe it’s essential to our wellbeing to have a way to empty our busy minds—this being due to the realization that when we bottle up & repress our endless emotions it begins to take a gigantic toll on our mental state. I can confidently say that this method of doing so helped me tremendously & as I have found such beauty to come from the process I feel that it may be something others can feel comfort and inspired by listening as I tell of my own personal life experiences, ones that I have documented over the years & grown immensely in the process. With that being said, I begin by sharing the actual recording of when I decided to take the initiative to record my first ever voice journal. Be prepared for an elaborate session of profanity as I walk you through just a few ups and downs that were found at the beginning of this process.
