Celtic women were quite distinct in the ancient world in that they had liberties, rights, and highly held positions in society. Compared to Greek, Roman, and other ancient societies, they were allowed much more freedom of activity and protection under the law.

So when the Romans decided to strip a woman and her daughters of their power in a most violent way, well, you know the saying: "Hell hath no fury like woman scorned." This episode is all about Boudica; a (rightfully) angry woman who went toe-to-toe with Rome.
