The Celtics crushed the Bucks tonight in an unbelievable team win. This is one of the more frustrating games of the season for me because it shows that there is so much potential for this team to be special yet we only sit at 14-14 on the season. With that being said, this really was a beautiful game offensively and defensively for the Celtics. The name of the game was ball movement as the Celtics tallied 31 assists on the night headlined by Smart's 11 assists with JB and Tatum contributing 5 and 4 respectively. On top of great scoring performances from the Jays, Tatum with 42pts and JB with 19pts, Grant Williams contributed in a major way scoring 17pts on 5-7 from 3 and taking a lot of Timelords minutes in the clutch as he was the hot hand tonight. Defensively, Al Horford proved once again he is the Giannis stopper. It seemed like the typical stat line for Giannis is games against Boston has been 35pts and 15reb over the last couple season but Al Horford held him to just 20pts and 8reb. The Celtics also bodied Middleton to just 4 points in the 24 minutes he played before getting injured as well. Overall, there aren't any negatives to take from today's game. This was a really strong performance leading into a 3 day break before facing off against the Golden State Warriors on Friday.
