The Celtics dug themselves in a huge grave giving up 79 points in the first half alone. 79 points allowed is a new record for most points allowed at home in franchise history. Despite falling behind 26, the Celtics decided to play with our hearts once again and cut the lead down to 6 before the losing it. It really was a tale of 2 halves as we were outscored by 26 in the first half and we outscored them by 20 in the second half. One bright spot of this game would be the play of Evan Fournier who looks like he is back to his normal game shape. He scored a team high 30pts on 11-16 fgm including 7-11 from deep, had a team high 8ast and added another 3reb. It's games like these the Celtics need to do a better job coming out of the gates hot as this game has serious playoff implications. After tonight's loss, the Celtics fall 2 games behind the Heat with only 4 games remaining. Getting into that 6 spot is still possible but it all starts on Tuesday. If the Celtics can beat the Heat, we would be only 1 GB them and own the tiebreaker which gives us 3 games to make up that 1 game.
