Well this was certainly an ugly win for the Celtics but every win counts at this point. The one positive you can take from the game tonight is the fact that the Celtics held Joel Embiid to just 13 points on 3-17 from the field in a masterful defensive effort. Al had the assignment of guarding Embiid for a large portion of the night but Enes Kanter Freedom logged some good minutes on him as well. Running the double big lineup for the majority of the game also gave Boston the flexibility to double Embiid several times tonight and Timelord did a phenomenal job of that and made Embiid's life very hard tonight. 

With that being said, if you hold Embiid to 13pts on 3-17 shooting, you would fully expect a Celtics blowout victory but that was not the case tonight. The Celtics struggled mightily creating offense and ONLY SCORED 88 on the night. You saw the Celtics revert back to a lot of Iso ball down the stretch by Tatum and Schroder and a lot of it was ineffective. While Tatum did have a great night logging 26pts and 16reb, we did see a lot of iso ball from him down the stretch. The other thing that scares me about this game is Jaylen Brown. He still looks slow and is clearly not 100% and with the Celtics flying across the country and playing a back to back series starting on Friday, that is a scary thought.
