The Celtics/NBA season has gotten quite complicated over the last few weeks. On our last show the Celtics Talk Radio crew discussed the breaking news that Jayson Tatum and Robert Williams had tested positive for Covid-19 and that more then half the team was at risk of now being uneligible to play in the teams upcoming games due to the NBA's protocols to try and help limit the spread. Sure enough the next few games for the Celtics were all postponed to later dates that are to be determined due to the Celtics or their opponents not having the required amount of players needed to play in the game. So where do the Celtics now stand not only in the NBA Standings but also injury and schedule wise here in Saturday JAN 16th. Meanwhile the NBA did have some big news that has taken the sports world by storm and has many Celtics fans now reacting which was Houston Rockets Superstar James Harden was traded to the Brooklyn Nets and he will join forces with Kevin Durant and former Celtics Kyrie Irving. The Celtics had been linked to James Harden but it was reported the only way the Celtics could have traded for Harden was to give up Jaylen Brown. So now that Harden is off the table what does this mean for the Celtics. Does this move which now has many experts saying the East is all but wrapped up in the Nets favor put more pressure on Danny Ainge to possibly make a move of some sort to help aid the Celtics big 3 of Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown and Kemba Walker to increase the Celtics chances of coming out of the East? Whats the latest on Kemba Walkers return and can we be confident he will remain healthy enough to help Tatum and Brown once they go toe to toe with the Nets? We will discuss all that and more with B Ball Insiders Reporter Bobby Krivitsky (@BobbyKrivitsky on twitter) and Celtics sports writer and fan Andrew Vernon
