The Celtics are heading to the City of Brotherly Love with a 2-0 series lead over the 76ers thanks to a 108-103 win last night in Game 2 in the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. The Celtics after playing game 1 without the help of 2nd year forward Jaylen Brown got the news he would be able to return but in a bench role and on a minutes restriction of 25 minutes. The Celtics came out to start the game looking like they were in for a long night going down by as much as 22 midway through the 2nd quarter. Rallied with a 25-8 run to cut the lead to 5 at halftime for the 76ers. Then used a 28-19 3rd quarter scoring edge to go into the 4th quarter up 4. The 76ers would then come back to take the lead in the 4th but the Celtics would not be denied as the group of Al Horford, Terry Rozier, Jayson Tatum, Marcus Morris and Marcus Smart managed to get the lead back and push it to a 7 point lead and preserved it for a 108-103 win. Many were choosing the Celtics to lose this game thinking the 76ers would win cause they would play better then they did in game 1 and that it would prove game 1 was a fluke cause it was just a rust issue for the 76ers. The 76ers did play better but the Celtics still put up 108 on them and came out victourious proving the Celtics can compete with them. In game 1 it was 3 big performances from Rozier, Tatum and Horford that did the damage. This time the Celtics have 6 players all get into double figures with Jayson Tatum leading the way at 21. Rozier put in 20, Smart 19, Horford and Brown 13 each and Morris 11. Now that the Celtics have a 2-0 series lead and are guaranteed to see atleast game 6. What is everyone saying.
