Celtics Talk Radio episode 125 The longest home stand of the Celtics season

Listen Later

The Celtics started the post all-star break schedule with a 3 game western conference road trip. With trips in Utah, Denver, and Minnesota the Celtics went 1-2 in that 3 game trip and fell from the 3rd seed in the Eastern Conference to the 4th seed. The Celtics after losing to the Wolves felt they were not playing as truly committed as they needed to be on the defensive end to win all 3 games on the road trip. The Celtics after having 2 days off after playing the Timberwolves now got a 5 game home stand with games against the Milwaukee Bucks, Miami Heat, Utah Jazz, Portland Trailblazers and New York Knicks. With the game against the Blazers being the only game where the Celtics are facing a team who would be coming to Boston playing the 2nd night of a back to back all other games both teams should be well rested. So we are 4 games into the 5 game home stand with the game against the New York Knicks scheduled for tomorrow night. So where are the Celtics right now after the first 4 games at home. Have they figured out a way to get the offensive running a little more smoothly without the services of Kelly Olynyk available? What about that final roster spot has Danny Ainge signed someone to take the roster spot that David Lee left behind after being bought out. Also whats the Eastern Conference look like now in terms of the standings. Your Celtics Talk Crew for the 2nd week in a row will be all alone discussing while welcoming your calls to the hotline to dicuss with them the latest Boston Celtics news.
