6 Days, 4 Teams, 4 superstar players (Carmelo Anthony, Paul George, Anthony Davis, Dirk Nowitzki). That was the stretch the Celtics had to play since our last show. In that first game against the Knicks and Carmelo Anthony the Celtics were victorious snapping a 3 game losing streak with a 115-87 win over the Knicks. This game saw Kelly Olynyk play in only his 2nd game of the season as he was put into the starting lineup for the Celtic's. But saw the Celtic's have to play once again without Al Horford and Jae Crowder. In this game the Knicks lost Carmelo Anthony and Brandon Jennings as both were kicked out of the game for picking up 2 technical fouls a piece for arguing about the officiating. Isaiah Thomas led the way with 29 points and Kelly Olynyk was the 2nd highest scorer with 19 points. The next night the Celtics took on the Indiana Pacers who were without Paul George while the Celtics were once again without Al Horford and Jae Crowder. Once again Isaiah Thomas and Kelly Olynyk were your #1 and #2 scorers respectively with 23 and 16 points respectively as the Celtics won 105-99. The Celtics then 2 nights later suffered what might be their worst defeat of the season as they lost to a 1-9 Pelicans team. The Celtics were outscored in every quarter except the 4th which was the only quarter the Celtics chose to attack the rim rather then take 3's. The Celtics overall took 41 3 point shots in that game which was nearly double what the pelicans took. Due to it the Pelicans took nearly double the free throw attempts and outscored the Celtics at the line by 13 in what ended up being a 1 point Pelicans win the Final score 106-105 Pelicans. The Celtics 2 nights later then defeated the Dallas Mavericks 90-83 in a game that saw the Mavs without Dirk Nowitzki while Horford and Crowder were out again. We will discuss all 4 games with our guest Sean Bakke @CLNS_Sean Content Manager/Co-owner of CLNS Radio and CO-Host of the CLNS Celtics Post Game Show
