Its the beginning of march and we are now just 6 weeks away from the NBA Playoffs and there is still so much left to be decided in terms of the Eastern Conference Playoff Races. The Celtics opted not to make any trades before last Thursdays NBA Trade Deadline and will move on the rest of the season with the core they have had all season intact. The Celtics are in the middle of a tight race in terms of the home court advantages in the Eastern Conference as they along with the defending champion Cleveland Cavaliers, Washington Wizards and Toronto Raptors are all duking it out to see who will finish with home court advantage throughout the playoffs. The Celtics came out of the All-Star break just 3 games behind the Cavaliers for the best record overall in the Eastern Conference and had a chance to gain some ground as last night they took on the Cavaliers in a game that saw the Cavs have to play without Kevin Love who was lost prior to the all-star break with an injury that would require him to miss 6 weeks of action. So did the Celtics manage to take advantage and gain some ground on King James and the Cavs. What about the Raptors and the Wizards who are behind the Celtics in the 3rd and 4th seed whats the latests on them? Did the Celtics add any players to the roster via free agency as several players who were traded last Thursday were being relreased from their teams like Andrew Bogut, Jared Sullinger and Deron Williams.
