The NBA Season began back on October 17th for the Boston Celtics and they started the season in a way that no team wants to start its season. They started by losing a Star player. Back on October 17th the Celtics lost All-Star Guard Gordon Hayward to a fractured ankle and many NBA experts immediately wrote them off as a team that coul make it tothe Eastern Conference Finals and stand in the way of the Cavaliers and Warriors meeting in the NBA Finals. The Celtics started the season 0-2 losing in the same game that Haywards injury occurred to Lebron James and the Cavs before losing the next night to the Milwaukee Bucks. After that the Celtics would go on a winning streak that would prove to many people that this team may not need Hayward in order to get to the Eastern Conference Finals. A winning streak that would see the Celtics knock off teams with some of the top superstars in the league like the Oklahoma City Thunder which have Russell Westbrook, Paul George and Carmelo Anthony. The Toronto Raptors with Kyle Lowry and Demar Derozan and even the defending NBA Champion Golden State Warriors with Draymond Green, Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant. The Celtics after that win would climb to the #1 spot in the power rankings while also having the best record in the NBA. Now at the quarter mark of the NBA season where do we sit. Are the Celtics still on a winning streak which means its now 20 in a row which would be a franchise record. Or did someone manage to stop them. Are they still in 1st place in the East?
