It was GAME 1 as the Boston Celtics took on the Milwaukee Bucks from the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. The Celtics drew first blood in the best of 7 severn series with a 113-107 overtime win over the Bucks. This game saw the Celtics top 5 remaining players all have big performances as Horford, Tatum, Rozier, Brown and Morris all scored 24,19,23,20 and 21 points respectively. The Celtics overcame incredible performances from Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton who scored 35 and 31 points respectively. This game saw was a game of runs as early on the Celtcs went on a 15-0 run to turn an 17-14 defecit into a 29-17 lead after 1 quarter. The Bucks however would use a sloppy 2nd quarter by the Celtics which saw the Celtics commit several turnovers and looked like a totally different team then the one that we saw in the first quarter and it allowed the Bucks to come back from down 12 and ultimately allowed them to leave the Celtics 47-44 at haftime courtsey of a 30-15 2nd quarter. The Celtics would win the 3rd quarter 26-19 in a quarter that saw both teams get up a lot of shots and the only points in the quarter for the Celtics came from Morris, Horford, Brown or Tatum and it gave the Celtics a 4 point lead going to the 4th quarter. In the 4th the Celtics would push the lead up to 9 and would have the lead by 3 with 0.5 sec left after Terry Rozier nails a 3 pointer to break a 96-96 tie. The Bucks would use their final timeout to advance the ball and nailed a 3 to force overtime at 99-99. In OT Terry Rozier would score 8 points Al Horford, Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown each added 2 in route to the Celtics win.
