The Boston Celtics lost game 4 Monday evening in Philadelphia by a final score of 103-92 and now hold a 3-1 series lead over the 76ers coming back to Boston for game 5 on Wednesday. This game had several headlines from the questionable officiating as we saw the Celtics top players for the 2nd game in a row targeted early and often with foul calls. Resulting in early foul trouble for several. To an altercation between Terry Rozier and Joel Embiid which led to shoving between the 2 players during a period where the Celtics players and head coach Brad Stevens was not happy with the officiating crew as the Celtics after going up 6 with 7:14 left in the first half saw the 76ers get a ton of calls go their way allowing the 76ers to take the lead this included an offensive foul on Terry Rozier where Joel Embiid after the foul was called tried to take the ball from Rozier who would not allow Embiid to take it and the 2 got into it. The Celtics also lost guard Shane Larkin to an injury after he and Joel Embiid collided with each other in the 2nd quarter. Larkin did not return and now Celtics fans will have to wait and see if the team will be down 4 rotation players for game 5 on Wednesday night. Once again Celtics rookie Jayson Tatum had a great game scoring 20 points despite the officiating calling 3 quick fouls on him in the first quarter and a half leading to him having to sit. Al Horford, Marcus Smart, Terry Rozier and Marcus Morris all scored in double figures as well in this game. The 76ers meanwhile made a change to their starting lineup removing Robert Covington and putting in T.J. McConnell in his place and McConnell has proven to be an issue for the Celtics this series.
