The Celtics have played 3 games since our last show. The first saw the Celtics welcome back Kyrie Irving and Marcus Morris to the lineup as the team faced off with the Brooklyn Nets. Brad Stevens prior to the game had some good news for the team and Celtics fans as he reported that there was a chance that Celtics big man Aron Baynes could possibly return next week to the lineup. As for the game itself the Nets were shorthanded as they had 6 players out for the game. The Celtics had 8 players score in double figures as the Celtics blew out the Nets by 21 points via the final score of 116-95. The Celtics would then have a day off before they hosted the Indiana Pacers who would be playing the Celtics on the 2nd night of a back to back after facing the Cavaliers. The Celtics treated the game against the Pacers like it was a playoff game and a chance to make a statement to the rest of the league and had arguably their best game of the season as they led from the opening tip and the Celtics blew out the Pacers 135 to 108 in a game that featured 7 Celtics get into double figures. Saw the Celtics bench score 73 points with every player scoring and it allowing Stevens to rest the key players as they would head to Miami the next night. The Celtics however in partiuclar their bench players appeared to leave their offensive game in Boston as the Heat blew out the Celtics in a game that saw the Celtics bench get destroyed by their counterparts in the scoring department squandering a major scoring edge the starters had over the Miami starters in route to this loss. So which game said more about where the Celtics are right now the win over the Pacers or the loss to the Heat. The Crew will be joined by 3 special guest.
