The Celtics biggest opponent this season has returned. Its not the Milwaukee Bucks, Toronto Raptors, Philadelphia 76ers, Miami Heat or LA Lakers. Its the INURY BUG. Once again the Celtics locker room has been infested and they are taking a hard hit in the injury department with just over a month to go in the season. Now Brad Stevens and Danny Ainge plus the players must decide what is more important. To rest players and potentially forfeit the 2nd seed and home court advantage through the first 2 rounds of the playoffs to the Toronto Raptors? Or fight for that 2nd seed to get homecourt and potentially an easier 1st round matchup in the playoffs but risk potentially not having all your pieces intact? The Celtics in the span of the last week which featued them playing 4 games have lost Gordon Hayward and Jaylen Brown to injury while Kemba Walker has not fully recovered from the injury he sustained in the All-Star game last month. So how did the Celtics do in this 4 game stretch. Who is actually able to play right now for the Celtics and who is sidelined and for how long. More importantly has there been any chatter that we could see a move made in light of the major minutes the Celtics top 5 guys are playing and all the injuried they are battling? We will be joined by Matt Rury (@TeamGreenTruth on twitter) of the CLNS Post Game Show to discuss these stories and get his thoughts on if a move has to be made or not.
