The Celtics are just 1 more win from sending the Philadelphia 76ers home from the NBA Playoffs and setting themselves up in a potential matchup with the defending NBA Champion Toronto Raptors. The Celtics after blowing out the 76ers in game 2 by 27 points got put into the toughest matchup of the series thus far. The Celtics in games 1 and 2 got big time performances from their stars Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. However in game 3 the 2 stars struggled causing the Celtics to have to find another away to come up with the win. Enter Kemba Walker and Marcus Smart. The Celtics got some big players from Kemba Walker on the offensive end especially late in the game while Marcus Smart got the job done late on the defensive end to help the Celtics ultimately retake the lead from the 76ers and win game 3 102-94. The Celtics now on Sunday can clinch their trip to round 2 of the NBA Playoffs. Daniel and Igor will discuss the top stories from this game. From the struggles of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown and if its fair to simply give the 2 stars a pass and blame their struggles on the officiating or should they be held more accountable for not having their A game in game 3? Also did game 3 prove once and for all that Celtics fans were wrong to make the claim that the team does not need Gordon Hayward? What about the battle of the bigs is there now a reason to be concerned seeing that the Celtics got dominated in the battle of the rebounds giving up 20 offensive rebounds to a team that has only 2 bigs that get played knowing that the next round of the playoffs will feature a Toronto team that has more bigs then that? Plus more we will be joined by Nick Gelso who is the owner of CLNS Radio. Andy Vernon who is a lifelong Celtics Fan and Sports Blogger.
