The 2nd half of the NBA Season is now officially underway. The Celtics have played only 1 game since the returning from the All-Star Break which was their 2nd showdown with the Brooklyn Nets of the season. The Celtics took on the Brooklyn Nets back on Christmas Day in a matchup that saw the Nets destroy the Celtics on the TD Garden floor 123-95 this was only the 2nd game of the season which of course saw the Celtics playing without starting PG Kemba Walker. Since then we have seen things change for both the Celtics and the Brooklyn Nets. The Celtics have ended up dealing with multiple injuries and have found themselves in the middle of the pack in the Eastern Conference. While the Brooklyn Nets have remained near the top of the Eastern Conference fighting with the 76ers and the Milwaukee Bucks for the #1 overall seed while also making trades and free agency signings to add even more talent. The Nets had added James Harden to form their own Superstar Big 3 and just recently added former Superstar Blake Griffin to the roster. So how did the Celtics fair in this 2nd showdown with the Brooklyn Nets. Did the Celtics manage to pick up the win which means now the 2 squards are tied at 1-1 in the season series with 1 game left on April 23rd and could make some people believe we maybe Boston has a shot to be a title contender after all. Or did Brooklyn outshine the Celtics for the 2nd time and clinch the season series. What about the latest reports on the upcoming Trade Deadline which is now less then 2 weeks away.
