The book on the 2014-2015 NBA Season has been officially closed. A new book titled the 2015-2016 is about to be written. The 2014-2015 season saw our Boston Celtics go 40-42 making it as the 7th best team in the Eastern Conference. Going to the NBA playoffs and being eliminated by the eventual Champions The Cleveland Cavaliers in 4 games. But despite that 4 game sweep at the hands of Lebron James and the Cavs. There is a lot to look forward to for this Celtics team is the 2014-15 season showed us. With no superstars on the roster Brad Stevens and his 7th seeded Celtics put up more of a fight against the Cavs in their sweep then the top seeded Atlanta Hawks who do have star talent did when they got swept by the Hawks in the Eastern Confernece Finals. With a few solid pieces this team would improve on that 40-42 record and it begins tonight at the 2015 NBA Draft. The Boston Celtics are 1 of 2 teams in this years draft (the Lakers being the other) that have 2 picks in the 1st round. The Celtics will pick 16th and 28th overall in the 1st round. Many reports have said that Danny Ainge is hoping to trade up in the trade rather then keeping those 2 picks. This is just the first stop on the road to the 2015/16 season opener the next stop would be in just under a week on July 1st when the NBA Free Agency period begins. Your Celtics Talk Crew tonight will be joined by Dan Carney Creator of http://Beantownbasketball.com , and Stanford writer for sbnation.com to breakdown what Danny Ainge and the Celtics do during the NBA Draft's 1st round.
