Celtics Talk Radio returns for their 1st show of the 2018/19 NBA Season. The first stop is the The 2018 NBA Draft. Unlike last year where the Celtics had a treasuer chest full of Draft picks to use and they ended up taking advantage of them to be able to come away with some decent players this year the Celtics sit with only 1 draft pick which is currently the 27th pick overall which is a late 1st rounder they got no 2 rounders. Unless Danny Ainge works his magic and makes a trade of some sort to acquire more picks we will see the Celtics make only 1 selection this year which is not something we are used to. So The Celtics Talk Radio Crew will be on the air starting at 8pm Eastern Time which is 1 hour after the Draft has begun in order to be live once the Celtics make their choice at the 27th spot. If the Celtics make a trade to move up into one of the top 20 spots which would be announced before we get on the air we will lead off the show with that as our breaking news giving you the trade details. We will also discuss the latest trade rumors and look towards Free Agency as NBA Free Agency is only 10 days away and the Celtics dont have any cap space to use for big name free agents but are linked to the biggest free agent of all Lebron James and the only way they can get him is if they were to trade away either Kyrie Irving, Gordon Hayward or Al Horford so what has been said in regards to those reports.
